About me.

Hello, nice to meet you!

Early years

I was born in the beautiful city of Graz in 1993. As a child, it was my grandfather who sparked my interest in computers and technology. I found myself spending hours troubleshooting and figuring out how everything is working. I remember how nervous and excited I was trying to upgrade my computer with a dedicated graphics card (MSI NX7600GT) just to play the latest skating game, “Tony Hawk American Wasteland”.

Back then, friends and family often asked me what I would like to become when I grew up, and my answer was usually: “When I am grown up, I want to do something with computers”.

University

For a long time, I did not know what that “something” was, but that changed during my time at university. I enrolled at the Technical University Graz and at FH Joanneum, where I graduated in business informatics and later received my master’s degree in IT-Architecture. During my studies, I gained a lot of soft skills and technical knowledge in various areas like software development, information technologies and business.

The Road So Far

During my studies at university, during internships and employments, I gained a lot of experience in software development, IT architectures and technology in general. At some point, I discovered an interest in cloud technologies and decided to put a heavy focus on this topic.

As of right now, I am employed as a Cloud Solution Architect / Lead of Cloud services at a leading  IT services company in Graz, Austria. In my current role, I provide technical support and consultancy services with a focus on Microsoft Azure cloud. In addition to that, I am responsible for large-scale enterprise cloud architecture designs and integrations which require deep technical knowledge in various areas. Furthermore, in my current role, I am responsible for driving innovation and supporting the design process of cloud-managed services. I have a proven track record of successfully leading and integrating cloud projects for small, medium and large-scale organizations.

Vision & Values

My main goal is to keep improving and extending my knowledge and sharing my experience with others. I love researching new topics and diving deep into technical details while also improving in other areas like consulting and soft skills.

I would like to put even more focus on sharing my knowledge with others. Feel free to contact me through my LinkedIn or view past and upcoming sessions on Sessionize.

Beyond the Keyboard

Photography has always been a big favourite of mine. It all started in 2013 when my father and I bought our first DSLR camera, a Nikon D800, which I still use today. I put a heavy focus on landscape and urban photography. I am still improving and would love to gain additional knowledge and experience especially in the area of portrait photography. You are invited to view some of my captures in the photography section.

Besides photography, I like playing (e)-guitar on my Gibson Les Paul, competitive video games, traveling and if the opportunity arises, experiencing some scuba diving adventures.
